It’s so awesome that the young men came forward. I don’t agree with the word “ratting out” they are honorable young men and did what most grown people wouldn’t or could not do. It only takes a person to watch the news and realize the norm is that someone says “I didn’t see anything or know anything” it’s refreshing that these young men stand above the rest. They’ve given those of us that are a little older hope, that honor is still a virtue. ❤️
@amelieholbrook30013 жыл бұрын
Hi Lilly, I could not agree more. Every time someone uses a derogatory term like "ratting out" they make it more difficult for future folks who know something to come forward. Of course, the same people who screech about "rats" and "snitches" would go ballistic if their own loved ones were hurt in a situation in which an informant could have prevented it by telling what he or she knew. Total hypocrites, but there you go. Thank YOU for telling the truth and being on the side of angels. I need to know that folks like you are out there, so again, thank you.

Why did Riley kill her. She was only 16 years old. The same age I am now. If Riley Gaul loved Emma Walker he wouldn't kill her. If you love someone you don't kill them. Now Emma's parents are sad that they lost their daughter that they love so much is gone but never forgotten. Emma was loved by so many of her friends and her parents. Today in 2020 5 years now. Emma would have been 19 or 20 years old. If Riley won!d of did what Emma's Mom told him to do. But now he is in jail for how long. We don't know. But my thing is if Riley loved Emma he shouldn't have killed her. Now Emma parents are heartbroken that they can't see, talk, or hug their daughter anymore because of what Riley Gaul did. It brought me to tears when I see a few videos of what happened to Emma Walker. It's sad as a parent and sad as a friend to her. I wish her parents and friends well. But it is heartbroken. But remember Emma Walker will never be forgotten. She is in all of our hearts.

It was all Riley Gaul's fault that Emma broke up with him because he got her into so much trouble to the point where she got grounded by her parents, forced her to stay inside, and even had her get her phone taken away and all the messages that Riley sent were very inappropriate messages and he even said some mean things to Emma and also, whenever Emma broke up with Riley, he should've gotten over the break up because it is better to just get over a break up than to actually kill someone over a break up because that way, you won't have to spend your life in prison but in my opinion, Emma Walker made the right decision to break up with Riley after all the messages that he sent to her and after all the times where he got her into trouble and she was tired of being in trouble because ever since Riley caused trouble to Emma, she has had some punishments and it is all Riley's fault because he should've never done what he did to Emma prior to the break up and the killing

Well, this is a classic example of mis-trial where people are prejudiced because a poor young girl is dead. But, this is not a murder, it's an 'accident'....yes, he was in possession of the gun....but it was a state of mind that made him think that if he can just stage an attack on her from outside her house, then she might turn back to him seeking for help and that would prove him as hero in her life and would possibly re-kindle their love (which was sabotaged by constant negativity fed into Emma's mind because he wanted to spend all his time with her and didn't want to share her with any one or even have a possibility of her being misused by any other guy as she was pretty young at that time....i.e. a usual possessive behavior of any young guy who has a beautiful girlfriend) I'm sure, he wouldn't have been even aware if she was dead that night when he fired the gunshot. It was indeed from very near the wall of her bedroom, but how on earth would he ever imagine that it would straight away go and hit her... How was is so sure that she was on her bed or in her toilet. One cannot even drill a perfect hole from other side of a wall at a desired place, forget about aiming at a person with an intention to kill her from outside a wall. He did aim at her bedroom wall and not in the air, because he wanted to make her believe that the attack was on her by someone who attacked him (the kidnapping staged by him)... He was a student with brilliant academics and a macho soccer player, yet a lover to a super beautiful girl... He used his calculative mind to stage all these things for the lover side of him....But, he was never a murderer... I'm speaking from experience...it's just that such 'accident' didn't happen in my life..... but i never ever, even in my wildest dream, imagined a life without the person i so madly loved.....forget about killing that person... I'm not sure if a psychologist was on board during the trial... He/she could have clearly explained what was Riley's state of mind.... It's very heart-wrenching to see how much hatred he received from people for loving a girl so madly at such a young age...........................Riley is not guilty of Emma's death....Once again...It was just an irredeemable accident.... a serious loss on both the sides- that of parents and Riley...

Even his friends testified against him though... They were the reason they caught him. If it was an accident then he wouldn't have a reason to lie in the first place, everything came off incredibly suspicious. It's not an 'accident' that he shot her right through her wall where she was sleeping as opposed to maybe above her bed or through the window... He was sure where she was because she was sleeping, it was like 2-3AM and he knew where she slept. Don't defend him that's creepy dude, no one should be that possessive and act like that, especially if they "love" someone. Don't be fooled, that kind of behaviour isn't "usual", or at least it definitely shouldn't be. And wtf "misused" by another guy? She's not an object to be used Stop defending him you look like you're supporting his actions because you'd do something similar

@@Rikiwizard You should see the courtroom proceedings of this case... In one of the interviews with NBC those schmucks (who would need enemies if friends are like them) said that they saw the pistol for the first time in the car when he was going to dispose that off...and later they testified in the courtroom that they had seen and had 'held' the pistol in their hands a day or two before the night of 20th November, 2016...Considering Riley's state of mind, was it not their moral responsibility to inform the same to his parents or grandfather... Why did they hand over the pistol back into his hands being absolutely nonchalant about the whole thing... If doubts are immense, the investigation team should have deployed a narco analysis/lie detection test to figure out his intentions at the time of shooting.. Why are we guessing that a guy in love went to kill his girlfriend because she broke-up with him... Knowing that the judiciary system/investigation team might get prejudiced over Emma's death and he would definitely get 51 years imprisonment, anybody in that situation would lie about associated events to avoid the doubts lurking on him... Well, I'm being rational about this case and have experienced such acute heartaches, but never ever thought to cause any harm to the love of my life.... That's the thing of some cold blooded murderer... A sane, God fearing guy would never do that....

Cheddar Cheese he lied because think about what he was going to face. He would have to turn himself in saying he accidentally shot a girl. He was young and probably panicked and tried to just cover it up. He definitely is a horrible person but isn’t a murder. He should be sentenced 4-8 years imo and owe the family a fortune

@@ethanleicester1199 Murdering is a very cold blooded thing, you can point a gun on someone, but the journey from there to pulling the trigger is not everyone can do..... One needs a great deal of cold-bloodedness or acute insanity to do it... A break-up theory is not enough to go ahead n shoot someone...that too shooting a person whom u saw for 2 years... A few years (2-4) in jail and a lifetime care of Walkers by Riley should have been the most ideal justice....
