After a three-week trial, a jury took just three hours last week to find the police officer not guilty of the murder or manslaughter of 29-year-old JC on a street in the WA mid-north town of Geraldton in 2019.
In Geraldton, the community held a demonstration outside the local police station and marched in frustration about the decision.

She was a drug addict with a history of violent behaviour. The Police officer was found not guilty because he was fully justified in his actions. Maybe the family should have done something about her behaviour instead of blaming everyone else.

This woman should not have lost her life. It was gross mishandling of her mental health crisis. The police need to be trained appropriately in how to de-escalate mental health situations and how to use safe restraint practices.

She was armed with a knife and threatened police…Her ‘mental health’ was caused by abusing drugs and alcohol. If her family cared they would have done something. I’m just glad she didn’t injure or kill any innocent people.

Calling for welfare check is worse thing to do better to get own community elders of own race to check . As per global reset white police around world is most weaponised , last people to call as trained with weaponised mentality, better to have own elders taking charge .
