You might have one of the most authentic farming channels out there from what I have seen. Running all makes and models, newer equipment and older equipment is a very realistic representation of what agriculture is. Coming from a smaller/medium size family farm in new Jersey, I find the value in what you are accomplishing. It's awesome and something to aspire to be. Keep it going.

We make them about 34 inches. It can handle anywhere from like 28 inches to 4ft. My biggest advice is just make a consistent length, tight bale. Consistency is gonna be the most important thing. Try not to be in too much of a hurry baling

@FarmingInsider2 жыл бұрын
We ran new hollands about a decade ago and struggled with the type of consistent bale we wanted. These inlines spit out the exact same bale every time. No banana bales, no weird stuffer adjustments for size of windrows or anything. They just perform

I didn’t follow this great Ron. Are you saying the barn stacker usually screwed up and got put into the fields?
@ronaldpiper48122 жыл бұрын
I was complementing the farmer knowing who to leave by self with equipment that can crash in a tight area. And no he likes it in barn as hot dusty doing other job. Basocly saying good man by self and he was left there as good planning who could crash in a tight area and could make stack a mess. Basicly you know who is best and he new were he wanted to work a nitch he likes and trusted to do it and a good job.
@FarmingInsider2 жыл бұрын
@@ronaldpiper4812 oh right on. Justin (the guy in the barn usually) is extremely good at the stacks and takes a lot of pride in them and keeping the barn tidy. He’ll occasionally let me swap in for him but he does a great job and usually likes to see it through. How the bales enter the barn usually sets the tone for how well they will pull out the next 11-12 months.

If you pay closer attention, the music typically accompanies only drone footage, when “natural” farm sounds wouldn’t be captured anyway. Just my two cents.
