I had never heard of tedding. Here, the farmers cut, rake, (sometimes fluff) and bale.

We've been pretty fortunate this year! Some have already gotten a second cutting. Fingers crossed for no late summer drought!

What is tedding? I had no idea Kentucky is so pretty.

Tedding is the process of ''fluffing'' the grass that has been cut. What it does more precisely is spread the grass out all over the ground to allow more sunlight and air to penetrate, which helps the grass to dry out quicker and allows you to bale it sooner. It's a wonderful tool to have! Kentucky is absolutely gorgeous. You could never get me to leave!
