Family Feasts & Milk Bottle Treats with Khanyisa & the Elephants

Jabulani stays close to Khanyisa during her milk bottle and by the waterhole during the herd’s day in the bush. There’s no swimming today, but the elephants enjoy time on the edges after getting a drink. Carer Owen joins the herd along a stream as they feed on a tree dominant bull Sebakwe recently pulled down. Father Sebakwe provides for all the elephants, and young and old benefit.

Oh what a precious tender moment between Sunshine ☀️ and big brother Jabu Khanyisa’s growing up fast but she is still the center of her family’s world. And of course we can’t forget what an adorable duo she & Cupcake(Timi)make. Sebakwe does not only prove that he is a powerful and strong dominant bull here, but also a very gentle father and good provider to the herd. It's also amazing how the ellies are being environment-friendly and sustainable by feeding on the fallen tree, instead on the ones that are still standing and healthy. Their memory is truly one of the greatest wonders in the animal kingdom. And there's a lot of inquisitiveness going on among the ellies with Khanyisa and Limpopo putting their trunks in the mouths of the other ellies. And just look how Timi is showing off her gorgeous self. She definitely knows they are being filmed. And I feel sad again not seeing Baby Phabeni while his family is together, particularly Setombe, Klaserie, and Sebakwe. Thank you, Carer Owen, for showing us what our beloved ellies are up to today. Our sweet Timisa is also getting bigger, so adorable khanyisa and jabulani together, her first visit in the orphanage when she was a baby was Jabulani, he went to visit her everyday just such priceless moments here she has come so far what a beautiful HERD I LOVE YOU all so much carers you work so hard to maintain the peace and protection of these amazing beings ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥so that tree is now down Mr Sebakwe took care of that and now all enjoy eating it!!♥♥♥♥ thank you dad Sebakwe🥰uncle Fishan was just looking out for everyone at the back there
