@Cancer9876511 жыл бұрын
Believe it or not it's mostly because the education system has become a great big tool. It's all aimed at money. The reason they tend to give worksheets etc is so that classes are easier and you don't fail. Basically as long as very few people fail their school gets additional funding. More and more teachers are being "discouraged" from failing kids these days even if they hand nothing in.

Lol...public schools...
@KazumiKiguma10 жыл бұрын
Cancer98765 Yeah, except they don't get much additional funding at all. That's why teachers still get crap pay, classrooms still have crap equipment (oh except for the ones that decide to spend it all on fucking smartboards rather than updated textbooks and desks), and there's barely any teachers out there that enjoy their job after a few years. The US had one of the top educational systems back in the 1900s, and still brags about it...that's long gone now. And "No Child Left Behind" is still stupid as hell.

Like I said to the first guy to make that claim: it takes years to learn farming. It's not just sticking a seed in the ground and waiting around for it to grow: You have to understand biology (plant animal and insect biology), you have to be a vet, you have to be a meterologist somewhat, a mechanic (fixing your own farm equipment), and othet things. People that think it's easy to replace farmers have NO CLUE what they are saying. Secondly for everyone to grow enough food for......

As someone who has worked as a sub teacher, college professor, medical resident, and doctor, I have to say all of these professions earn their salary. If I had to choose one though, med residents earn their money more than teachers or reg doctors. They get paid worse than teachers, work extremely long hours, have to handle life or death situations, are continuously being evaluated by people who often treat you like crap, and pts and families are even more stressful to work with than schoolkids.

As for what you said about the age that a thong should stop being worn, you do have a valid point. However, allow me to provide a counter-argument. If a woman wears a thong so that men can't see her underwear lines, than doesn't a thong become unnecessary after a certain age, when men no longer look at her with lust? At that point, it DOES actually serve little point other than seduction, but at that point most women are married, in which case it would typically be for their husband.

Paul Sutherland It sounds like legit logical thinking to me. Hell, if you wanna get more specific, different ethnicities seem to show age at different times. A pretty well known one is that Asian women look young up through their 50s, and then when 60 comes, bam! So I mean, that question was a bit weird in the first place.
@SCROGY12 жыл бұрын
The question I was adressing wasn't if teachers make farming easier. It was which job is more important/harder. Teaching may require more schooling but not necessarily more KNOWLEDGE. Like I said farmers have a great deal of knowledge just not formal education. We didn't learn farming by having teachers travel back through time and teach hunter gatherers how to become agriculturalists. You can't teach what wasn't previously known. We learned agriculture first by trail and error.

I notice a lot of bickering over question #1. Teachers (the good ones anyway) do earn their pay. However, compare costs of having the job (insurance, school loans, equipment, etc). A brand new teacher in my area starts off at $40k+. My children's pediatrician brings home less than $70k due to malpractice insurance and he's never been sued. Let's stop paying "entertainers" millions upon millions and instead pay farmers, doctors, teachers, military, etc more than what they get now.

Very good point, but what im trying to say is even if humans can learn on their own, it is a lot easier to learn something by a teacher than by yourself, by the teachers teaching it, it allows more people to learn faster and better, which allows a larger rate of food and etc made by the farmers, What we are arguing about is a will never end its like the chicken and egg debate there is no right answer

How do you figure that? They have to deal with 20-30 children most of whom are being improperly raised and therefore are pieces of shit. They work around 10-11 hours a day they also have to work on weekends at times, deal with shitty parents bitching about their kid failing and blaming the teacher, when it's the kids fault for not doing homework etc. They go through way to much bullshit, they deserve every single penny they make, they need to make a few more bucks if you ask me.

What school did you go to? Every school year My schools told everyone before the school year started what to bring (aka parents buy it) and on the first day of school we all had to put it together "so the class could share it, because some people can't afford it and it wouldn't be fair) by the time I was in fourth grade I stopped and said fuck that (not literally because i was in fourth grade) and decided to keep everything my parents bought ME. Also a lot of teachers are shitty. A lot of the time they just give you remade packets make you read a book, get pissy when you ask questions, and put on videos. ALSO they are huge Hippocrates. Most of them act like they care sooo much about there students but a lot of them are only in it for the small paycheck. But don't get me wrong I've had my fair share of awesome teachers and I know not all of them are like that.

Handling pissed clients is just the peak of the iceberg of the problems we face, and I don't even want to imagine all the problem-solving a farmer faces, and to do that, high intelligence is required, sometimes more so even than a teacher because they DON'T have those extra 6 years of study to help them out.

And I'm not justifying anything for myself. I'm (at least for now) asexual. I don't feel attraction to either gender, so what you call an "evil" is not my own. And while I'm well aware that a thong can be used for seduction, so can LITERALLY everything else. Ever heard of a fetish? Rule 36 of the internet: If it exists, it is somebody's fetish. And depending on the man, any underwear is seductive. Are you saying women shouldn't wear underwear at all? That seems much worse to me.

Like I said before trail and error doesnt happen quickly its something that happens over a intensive time period, but being taught something right is better, im sure you have heard practice makes perfect but perfect practice makes a better worker, this is what im trying to get at is the teacher is more important because without any teacher trial and error would be repeated over time because the farmer would not know how to teach im not saying farmers are dumb, but they wouldn't know how to teach
