When cps took my daughter over false allegations about my husband he immediately volunteered to move into an extended stay hotel, where he stayed for 3 months, until cps was able to finish the investigation and close our case. Was it hard supporting two households, hell yes but it got our daughter out of foster care and back home where she belongs while we got everything settled with cps.

It was a very hard 3 months but we realized there were some toxic people in our lives and we relocated to a different state (where my husband's family lives) and haven't had an issues since

It sounds to me that this lady likely didn't have the correct help after the death of her son for whatever reason to aid in coming to terms with it, so she's developed a dependence on this guy as he was the one that was there as she grieved. That has had a very problematic result though because he's held in an elevated position in her view and she's now prioritising him over the children (and even her own safety) because of that dependence, which a parent should never do. She should have left and prioritised the return of her children. If he really wanted to be with her or to be a family again, he should (and want to) get help for himself and once he's in a more rational frame of mind, if thats even possible, (because it doesnt seem like he is here) prove long term that he's changed. Only then should she even think about being with him, let alone do it and even then, at a distance until it's proved. I think she does need help in regard to the reason she has this dependence on him and herself in general anyway regardless of if he's in the picture or not.

But yes they always give a detailed home plan for reunification and I'm sure they told her she couldn't get her kids back unless he was gone and she has taken parenting classes

It really kills me seeing so many women put men over their children. She's now traumatized those children on so many levels. First the death of a sibling (she did not directly cause this), then she exposes them to watch her partner abuse their mother, then they are separated from their mother and put into foster care, and the cherry on top is her choosing to stay with the abusive partner as opposed to fighting for her children. So now they've experienced loss, separation, abandonment & who knows what other type of trauma. These poor kids are all I could think of. Forget the cheating. This guy's a dirt bag. And she has the most backwards priorities. 🙄

Once strangulation has occurred in a relationship the chances of the victim being murdered is very high.I hope good people adopt those kids and she realizes she’s an unfit mother the way she is, that she needs to leave him and get professional help. He got her to where she thinks he's going to change to back to the beginning. That was a phantom person she fell for the first 3 months. so im gonna play devil's advocate here but I don't think we can fully blame the mother. she went through something incredibly traumatic, losing her first born, and she latched herself onto someone who was there for her, who held her when she cried and basically became a remnant, a reminder, of what she did wrong, of what she once had. besides that, she blames herself for the death of her son. she feels like this is all that she deserves and all that she should allowed to have because she failed her baby. this woman has severe trauma that needs to be spoken about with a professional. she'll always be to blame but we need to show humanity to a very broken soul.

I’m a survivor of an abusive, narcissistic spouse. He started with name-calling, controlling behavior. It escalated to pushing, spitting, and finally, one day he put his hands around my neck and pinned me to the floor. Each time he put his hands on me, I pressed charges. Each time, a new promise that it will be different! When he choked me, that was it. If they can put their hands around your throat in a fit of anger, they can kill you! To anyone in this type of situation…make a plan in secret, save money, do not announce you’re leaving…. Then leave one day when they’re gone. To the woman in this show, she’s a lousy mother, that she’d leave her children in Foster care, and choose this loser over them. Maybe it’s better if they aren’t with her. I just hope the foster parents are treating them right!

Any time Kenny spoke he avoided eye contact and would either smirk or shrug, showing just through body language he wasn't being honest. The way he spoke had trembling showing he was not telling the truth. But the biggest thing for me is that she was more worried about a relationship with this manipulator than getting her kids back.
