the problem with trying to go back to the question about the vegetable was there was one second on the clock and typically they don't go back to a question if there isn't enough time to ask the question and give the answer

Top answers added up to 218. Did anybody ever get the 200 points solo in Fortunes? It happened a few times over here in America on Family Feud.

Not as far as I know. In later games of Family Fortunes the "Big Money" questions were more carefully selected to prevent anyone winning 200 points solo.

One woman got 180 points and got all five top answers. Another one got all five and (I think!) 195 points. Thankfully the next player of both families got the other points needed
