Why not? Planes crash in the US daily and kill people so what is so different with those happening daily and this ? Accidents happen and I bet none of them are complaining about it because they didnt know it happened. I had a convo with Kobe and he is still wondering what happened and that happened 5 years ago... Life happens ... Some family died on their small aircraft two weeks ago that crash landed and I am sure a few more had died since that.

Same here, but shock and the accompanying adrenaline do weird things. For the first few days it's like you don't actually believe that it's happened yet. I was there when I lost my mom all of a sudden and I was on autopilot for the first few days. It is more likely that someone would do an interview immediately rather than a week later, I think.

If they were using thermal imaging, they wouldn't have. I run thermal every night, and cannot see vehicle lights coming right at me. They leave no heat signature. I said IF not to be rude, because I have heard of that possibility.

Define highly experienced! It seems as though you have no clue about the military and in context to what is defined as highly experienced. Maybe you should use your brain and calculate 20 hours of flight time monthly and see how long it takes to gain that amount of time. You might be under the illusion that they go flying around daily typical to your commercial pilot which gets 75 hours per month but they dont. They do simulated training and a couple hours here flying a mission or training and couple there but I bet, none of the commercial airline pilots can do what these guys can do in a plane or helicopter. USE YOUR BRAIN!

Helicopter, the plane did nothing wrong it was just landing. The helicopter crashed into them before it landed, they are the ones who had to be aware of their surroundings
