Peter was at the Million Man March because he had "gotten in touch with his feminine side" ... His intention was to blame men in general for violence but had stumbled onto an audience of all black men who thought his accusation was levelled at them over their race not their gender.

The lack of prior context really changes some of these scenes, for example there's an episode where Peter went to a sensitivity training session after making misogynist jokes at work; after that sensitivity training he became extremely sensitive about women's issues; in that scene he wasn't meaning black people but men in general, it's part of the story twist.

the million man march reminds me of a tv show I saw recently, they are trying to stop evil mutants from the future, and go back to stop a guy from getting laid that creates them, they get there and he's in an entirely black fraternity and one of them yells, "I'm going to kill you and all your mutant race." meaning the ones from the future...but they got booted out fast :>
