I feel like I was lucky to grow up with Chapelle Show, South Park, Family Guy and the plethora of 'inappropriate' comedy from the 90's/early 2000's. I laugh at basically everything and don't take it seriously at all. It's okay to laugh at other people, but most importantly it's okay to laugh at yourself. People are waaaay too uptight nowadays.

well you would think that such an offensive show wouldnt work in our time, but Family Guy is still going strong and South Park is also really offensive, but the reason that both shows persist is because there is no bias, anyone, anything, anywhere can be cracked jokes about. and it should be that way as these shows arent out to be malicious towards anybody, it's all in the name of humor, nothing more and nothing less.

I’m legally blind and in HS i went to a camp at Penn State for visually impaired teens who wanted to go to college. The first night there a deaf and blind camper ended up being in a dorm room by himself because the other camper who was supposed to room with him didn’t show up, he accidentally locked the dorm room from the inside and so come morning the Resident Assistants couldn’t get in to wake him up and for almost half an hour they were banging on the door until eventually one of the RAs knocked on the door so hard that his whole dorm was vibrating and he woke up. He got a roommate after that.

I love love love offensive jokes. They highlight how nonsensical some of our beliefs are. They turn things that most people might find offensive, and make them laugh. Like the over the top gay guy and the baseball bats / fists. Are there gay people that act that way, yes, are bats and fists used in gay sex? Sometimes. But all of them are fairly rare and so to bring them all together you just have to laugh at the absurdity of it. This is the true power of humor, and why humor should never be censored. EVERYTHING should be joked about; either to hope us get over bad thoughts, or to help us deal with the horrors of the real world.
