Quick fact Van Gogh didn't cut his own ear off, his mentor Paul Gauguin cut it off with his fencing saber and the two of them made a "Pact of Silence" after the fact, so Van Gogh made up that story to protect his friend

I'm surprised that there wasn't a brief mention on how Brian went into the kitchen drank a lot of water shortly after the effects of the mushrooms were beginning to wear off. I suspect that the aftereffects of mushroom hallucinations can cause the one who did the shrooms would get incredible dehydrated.

I have read where some doctors will remove or operate on the wrong appendage accidently. I've gone in to surgery before and before the surgery, the surgeon would come in and chat with me and would mark the affected area with a marker to ensure no mistakes were made. I kind of appreciated the caution.

Speaking of allergies. For the first time, I felt an acute allergy in the store. One day I went to a household chemicals store and not only, it looks more like a supermarket of household chemicals, body care products, perfumes, etc. Of course, there are many different smells. Mythbusters actually tested if a ceiling fan can seriously injure or decapitate someone and they determined that while it would be quite painful for a person to be hit by a ceiling fan, it wouldn't generally cause grievous permanent injury and it's highly unlikely to put you in the hospital. Family Guy has a tendency to wildly exaggerate injuries for the sake of humor.

Note: it's hard to get an x-ray when their hand is in a bag of ice, at least we're pretty sure it was most of his hand...I barely had time to process the x-ray before he was transferred (and this was before digital xrays).

Didn’t expect the show to go and include psilocybin mushrooms in a skit. I live in Oregon, which happens to be the first state to have decriminalized the substance and approve of it for supervised therapeutic usage in 2020. An experimental procedure, but so far there have been no reported incidents and those who’ve gotten it seemed to enjoy it. (This is not an endorsement for use.) The clip definitely shows why one shouldn’t be left to consume it on their own. For the record, I have not had the procedure. I don’t live in one of the 11 Oregon counties where it’s legal (though my county will allow it starting next year). I just wanted to comment on it.

I think i had a panic attack once when i had a nightmare a year ago, i woke up with a racing heart and i didnt know why, i had this death anxiety that made me believe my heart would stop with beating so quick, luckily nothing happened as time went on, i got better, gathered more information about my situation, but while that happened, i keep having these thoughts that my heart would stop while i slept, i was so scared i almost couldnt sleep for hours!, turned out it was just a small nightmare that was the cause at that time

Our daughter, when she was 8, stood up on her bed (which, of course, she wasn’t supposed to do) and got grazed with the fan on her hairline. I heard her scream upstairs, looked up to find blood dripping down her hair and shirt. Looked straight out of a horror film. Urgent care decided to put glue on it because stitches would require going to the ER across town. It was short, but deep, and the glue held it just fine…long enough for the bleeding to stop anyway. She has a very tiny scar there.

Actually, lightning is AC current. It isn't DC current. DC current can't travel through air. I know this because I'm an electrical engineer. The reason people don't spasm with lightning strikes is because the lightning strike is so fast that they don't get a chance to.

Having had a minor amputation I know they check multiple times with different methods and different people what is going on, the side which it was happening was maked with permenant marker, I had to repeat what waas happening to each new person I met, they checked my chart to see if that was correct, the surgeon and anesthetist also asked, even though it was a minor surgery(IMO anyway) there we so many checks to make sure the right proceedure was done, I'm glad to be living in this time and my country that accidental surgeries don't happen.
