5:05 The Russian woman being beautiful stereotype is relatively modern. During cold war era the stereotype was that any woman east of West Germany was big, muscular, and looked like a man. It might be rooted in earlier "western" propaganda as the Soviet's encouraged women to get into math and science, doctors , astronauts, etc, whereas the "west" was still in it's woman can only be housewives, secretaries, and nurses, and can't even have their own bank accounts, phase. It's possible they were playing on that because I notice McFarlane shows often have older references now and then even in newer episodes.
