Peter's last sentence and the bird impact are spot on comedic timing. It's not shown to avoid being graphic, and hearing the splash and leaving everything to the viewer to process, realize and imagine what's happening makes it funnier, although I'm not sure why it works like that. Anyhow old Family Guy absolutely knew how to tell a good joke. If it was modern Family Guy Peter would have probably crashed through the wood with shit and blood all over him because of course some wood splinters got drilled through his eyes and throat or something. And then he would cry and suffocate for a minute to drag out the time until the end of the episode. God, modern Family Guy is such trash and it saddens me.

I just realised the squatter guy in front of the Welcome sign is actually a sharp one. He calculated the Griffins at first glance without stopping them.

I still maintain this is the best episode of family Guy ever it's the one that my friends and I used to quote all the time in school

She’s always awesome. It’s the fact that she’s been treated like crap.

Nah, I disagree with you both. I hated how she constantly fat shamed her own brother and her lack of intelligence. The latter may not be so bad but by God, raccoons aren't "rodents", they're related to the dog family... it just triggers me.

Wow. Seths natural voice does sound pretty professional. when he did the voice for the agent in the beginning, i imagined a man selling a house. It is just so good sounding
