No, it wouldn't, because as I said equal or lesser force. Self-defence only qualifies when the situation and response is proportional to the perceived situation. Someone knocking something out of your hand is physical provocation, but not assault. Punching someone for doing that is very much a form of assault, however. I really suggest you learn the difference unless you find yourself in trouble.

Some times yes. Depends on the sporting event. Baseball or american football games they're probably have alcohol while basketball games they're most likely have caffeinated drinks. Basically if it's indoors it's safer to have people drink soda or tea than alcohol because if they're outside and they cause a fight less people will get hurt if someone pulls a weapon.. Not just a gun some people bring pocket knives to these things.
