@@GodsMistake every kid in the family had a short story explaining what they had done in their life, except for Meg. It’s a great detail because it is keeps the joke that no one cares about Meg.

@@GavinMcCollum My family isn’t white and we like them. They’re only pretentious if you somehow feel personally targeted or attacked, or like the movie is trying to be more than it is. Royal Tenenbaums = not trying to be more than it is. Life Aquatic = not trying to be more than it is. Fantastic Mr. Fox = not trying to be more than it is and it’s a masterpiece btw. Moonrise Kingdom = not trying to be more than it is. Grand Budapest Hotel = not trying to be more than it is and it might be his best work. Rushmore was also great and had a lot of great moments. I’d say it’s more pretentious to say you don’t like Wes Anderson movies because white people blah blah blah, when really they just aren’t your thing
