I really appreciate them putting the Twin Towers in the background of like every shot as a subtle reference to how so many 90s sitcoms took place in New York, and so looking back at these shows there's an uncomfortable amount of footage and shots that just has the twin towers ominously standing in the background of all these outdoor scenes and transitions.

I too have fond memories of the nineties. I would love to go back and visit that era for like a weekend and then return to the present. I like to think of non interactive time traveling expeditions as being similar to the ocean it’s beautiful beneath the surface but if you stay too long you’ll drown.

In a season 5 episode, I think Peter and Lois met in the 80s. Like 1984 I think. This is why it's a bad thing for characters to never age. Because timeline get shifted around. Also, idk why the WTC in every shot, I think it's the subtlest joke family guy has ever done.
