They try to, and will occationally attempt to aquire the more available corpses along the mountain. But it's not like they can maintain a frequent body rescue all the time.

People climb Everest all the time without extra oxygen. Anatoly Boukraev made it to the top many times without it. Of course this family is untrained and fat so they WOULD need extra oxygen lol
