Interesting fact about Asian Americans that served in Vietnam. American Special Forces used to send them out wearing enemy clothing (the infamous black pyjamas) and enemy weaponry. They were usually used as point-men (the guy's who lead a patrol), basically the idea was the Viet-Cong would mistake them for other Vietnamese, allowing the Americans to get the drop on them.
