I'm so glad to have found this on YTube! "American Experience" is my favorite PBS series, and Hoover Dam is one of the best episodes in the 35 yr history of the series. Nice to see the late, great historian David McCullough as the program host.

What the commentator doesn't understand is that wool is better than any other fabric to keep either hot or cold. So yes these people wore wool suit in the desert but so do berbers in the Sahara. If you wear nothing you'll roast.
