The last time I went to Myrtle Beach, I had a horrible car accident that we lost a lot from. In the distance, I could see the lights of Family Kingdom. I could hear people too, despite it being so far away. I shan't forget it.

Got hurt getting off bumper boats had to go to EMT trailer and I tell you that they were so nice and helpful and it was just great time at park that day..... Been like 10 years but it feels like yesterday....

I used work here,it was a fun place ,nice people,I cooked and ran a hoops game in 2003,I remember bike week was funny Hell,s Angel,s and Mongols, Pelican,s and ATF filming everybody and possibly situation at Holiday inn, great place

Went last spring and was quite surprised how nice it was looking with everything repainted and refurbished. Also, I thought Swamp Fox was a fairly strong ptc. In the season when I rode, I preferred it over Rebel Yell which was sadly running terribly when I was at KD last year.

When I went to Myrtle Beach, I went here. I liked the Pistolaro Roundup, and loved the log flume and Swamp Fox. The others rides there were pretty good too. I went there in 2011.

So does the Log Flume count as a credit?And interesting fact, Twist N' Shout was relocated from Ocean City, NJ, where it killed a couple people back in 1999. I was lucky enough to get on it in the short few weeks it was open before the accident.

Your very lucky my parents make me pick. I pick Myrtle Beach of course because it is really a big part of me I go their every single summer for vacation I really like it! It may not be as beautiful as the other beaches but I love it! I have never been to another beach and I don’t plan to? I would really recommend!! The Sky Wheel, Family Kingdom, BroadyWay At The Beach, and also all the stores. You should buy some stuff for memories. I forget stuff very very easily and I don’t remember the good memories only the bad lol. So I buy stuff to remind myself. I bought a turtle in 2017. This year I hope to get some shells!

The Galleon ride is nice but I think they should have a Chance Pharaohs Fury but In a pirate theme. Similar to the one at that Holiday park or something like that.

seems like they've done some remodeling over the years when I was growing up it seemed like that was run down. it's crazy to think that the Family Kingdom outlived The Pavilion after all these years

Well also that didnt help was the wildmouse costed millions to repair. Also there wooden coaster seemed painfull and there were a couple of accidents there that declined attendance

Great commentary In the Loop! Back in the early 90's, Family Kingdom did have an upside down ride also. It was the Sky Master. Some traveling carnivals have one, like a larger version of the classic Loop o Plane ride. Not sure y Family Kingdom took it out.

I went in 2015 and I rode the swamp fox ride in the front row and the worst ride was the train ride its boring but if you want a tour then it's okay but I also hate the fairs wheel fairs wheel no safety at all only that bar in the middle if I can remember family kingdom is a good amusement park but if your looking for big rollercosters I wouldn't suggest it but go to carowinds it's 3 hrs away I love the fury 325 the front row is the best

The drop tower is a Chance drop tower. There was only a handful of them built. Right off the bat I can think of four of them, this one, the drop tower at Adventuredome in Las Vegas, Martin's Fantasy Island had one, and Frontier City had the prototype called Hangman. The ones at Martin's and Frontier City were terribly unreliable so they were eventually removed.

I need to comeback here again They changed there drop tower but why cant they get a tall permanent one. BUt I forget how good this park was and Swamp fox is my favorite wooden coaster still! Also if it wasnt for the logflume there I would of not maybe been into coaster and amusement parks

FUn fact that Magic Bikes and the flying tummy laydown rideand I believe that bounce around used to be at freestyle then got moved here and the swing ride from freestyle got moved to seabreeze

What impresses me about Family Kingdom is that most of those flat rides are permanent models, and the ones that are traveling models looking permanent. Most seaside parks seem like a permanent carnival.

My friend, you need to get hip to the red burrito. Do yourself a favor drop into a Hardee's/ Carl's junior that as red burrito and hook it up. I have no affiliation with the company other than the fact that that is the only fast food that I bother to eat.

I went here and to Broadway at the Beach in April and noticed they have a lot of the same rides. It was like...oh, we already saw/rode that ride. Also, Swamp Fox, probably one of the most roughest roller coaster I've ever ridden. It jerked you around this way and that. I ride it twice. The first time I was like...oh this is going to be fun, and then it jerked me around. So the second time I was a little hesitant to ride it, but said give it one more shot. It was more smooth but not as much(I rode back in first ride and front on second.) But I got 2 more coaster credits here and one at Broadway at the Beach. Wish that Hard Rock Park was still around. Never got to go there because I was too little, and we never went to Myrtle Beach. The park is nice though. Rode every ride possible for a teen. Definitely one of those one time parks.
