Family Looks Like Legos in Botched Photo Shoot

One family’s portrait doesn’t make the people in it look real. Dave and Pam Zaring from St. Louis hired a professional photographer to shoot family photos. Imagine their shock when the shots were mailed to them and they looked like they're made of Legos. “This is too funny to keep to ourselves,” Pam told Inside Edition. “When I came over and looked at them, I can tell you both of our mouths were just compete ‘O’, just wide open,” she recalled. #InsideEdition

My guess based on my own experience is that the shadows on their faces were too much, so they may have lifted the coloring, which in turn made their faces grainy. So then they used the "smooth" tool in photoshop to get rid of the grainy pixels but it made their faces flat.

She said the photographer stands by her word and took about 8 months to get the photos back as well. For $250 I would demand my money back. This is beyond bad. She shouldn’t be advertising herself as a professional. She didn’t look at the pictures as she was taking them or even before she ended the session? She didn’t have a light meter? She didn’t have a softbox reflector? She could have at least found a piece of cardboard and got some aluminum foil to make a quick reflector or asked them to change locations.
