Great judge. Immediately recuses herself because she knows she may show bias to the accused.
@Jav816
@Jav816 2 ай бұрын
She recognized him last time, but acted accordingly. I think it’s different this time because the first encounter made national news and she didn’t have a personal connection with him then, but then went out of her way after it made the news to see him released from prison in 2016 and give him that pep talk. That’s why she had to recuse herself.

I don't think the issue is that she may show bias but the fact that whatever she decides can be used against her. Years back I was in court, and the judge sent me to VOP (violation of probation) as a "learning lesson" on a first (and ONLY) offense. The cop who drove me from court to the prison was an old friend of mine's father, who was a great guy. He was always really nice to me. He proceeded to tell me how disappointed he was the entire trip. That was a miserable ride. I will never forget it, and I will not go back.

Reds3DPrinting, your loving comment is the kind of love and encouragement that is straight from Jesus Christ ! I remember the Shame and guilt that encompassed me after messing up in a big way, twice! The difference is after the second mess up, I wanted to heal. The healing started with Jesus Christ reminding me that He loved me despite my mess ups. Even the big ones. Then He sent special people to give me an encouraging word, despite them knowing what I had done. So first, Jesus Christ's Love then His Mercy and GrsceHis Mercy and Grace . Then to butter it up He sent humans, imperfect and often judgemental, to also extend mercy and compassion. Shame and Guilt began to dissipate then even faster. I mean, what or who would make a regular person have such compassion for me, strangers! It was the love of Jesus Christ. Even if they didnt say it, I knew the love was supernatural and from God, Jesus Christ. Gratefulness ushered it's way in because I now recognized how loved I had always been by Jesus Christ, despite my mistakes and bad choices. Then, forgiveness, forgiveness for myself and for who may have harmed me in the past. After that, whew, everything became new. I felt a new love and compassion for others along with empathy . So, even if the Arthur does not see your message, Jesus Christ is there with Him. Hope he knows it. Your words, will help someone for sure. Take Care!

I feel so bad for the judge. She was hoping that he would redeem himself to be a better person and now here he is again arrested and going to prison again. Goes to show that yes, it’s important to give others second chances, but sadly not everyone deserves it.

This has to be the most disappointing thing I’ve ever watched. This story was so popular all over the internet. Literally millions of people were rooting for this guy to succeed. And then he goes ahead and does it again. It’s just disappointing. And he knows it too cuz he couldn’t even look her in the eye.

@@mike.1 Stop doing that. While it's true to not judge someone harshly, justifying what he did is wrong. He was in a string of robberies. That's not something you did because you had no choices. The fact that many people around the internet knew him should motivate him to live a better life. There were ex-convicts who probably did worst than him but actually started a new life. And with you trying to justify what he did only push him to keep doing the same thing, contrary to what you probably think.
