It's easy to tell these are made up when they're far too detailed and the protag just happens to be some kind of protege, but man that "his revolutinary ai platform about to change the industry" is just far too on the nose

Play one of these videos and you are going to see nothing but in your feed from now on out eh. Isn't it interesting how they all have mommy / daddy / sibling issues at the heart of the story and the only hard-working, successful, kind-hearted member of the family is the one that gets bullied and ends up inheriting the rich aunty's fortune or receiving largesse from the rich patron. People are prepared to waste over 20 minutes of their lives on multiple of these fantasies?

Although this is pretty far-fetched, I did quite like the underlying principle behind it; that your parents shouldn't try and force a square peg into a round hole. Good on the protagonist for choosing his own path.

Even better is that even knowing the story is not factual the fact that the young man still was willing to let bygones be bygones and re-establish a healthy dialogue with his family is impressive. Family is very important.

Thats why it's so important to spout out about it. I love reading "some" of these stories, but I look at the comments and see statements like these people believe these stories and voice damaging remarks to other people commenting. WTH???? Ok, cute story! Funny story! Interesting story? Whatever, but these are just like the soaps of yesteryear, when I had aunts and parents looking at mid-day soaps and stuck on them. My husband worked at night and got addicted to "All My Children" and we'd laugh about it. He said, I know, I know, I'm hooked on them! We'd laugh about it. but some of these comments show some serious thoughts about these stories and anger against others who say anything bad about a story. Keep it real people, their made-up stories!

What a doormat. First the aunt "remember how James used to..." I'd be like "Don't start lying now auntie, you never liked what I was doing." Loud enough for everyone to hear. And, the BIL why would you not make him sweat more? Like maybe hint that divorcing the sister would save the deal in front of everyone? Like where is the spine? The spine to acctually make them suffer. Just because she cried and had a look of regret? But what was she regretting and why? He's an idiot, I would have stopped the hug and made it clear in front of everyone there was no hope of reconsiliation. And EWWW to the sucking up "Anything you want Sweetheart" 🤮 This story sucked I wish I'd never listened to it.

I never watch these twice, but I love a challenge. I stopped proof reading half way through though. My post would have been too long if I did the entire story. Lack of proper punctuation and capitalization. Coat instead of hope. Side instead of sighed. Capitalizing words that should be lower case. Wall instead of wool. Alate instead of elite. Crystalblasses instead of crystal glasses. Sanding instead of standing. Ashon instead of ashen.

Everyone has likes and dislikes, both directing a person's life choices. What suits one person may not suit another person, causing that person to rebel if undue pressure is applied in an attempt to force that person into something they don't want or have any interest in. Families are made up of individuals who may or may not be interested in the same things. As in this made-up story, James had an interest that was dismissed by the rest of his family but went on to make him a wealthy individual. What blinded his family was the family's wealth, their inability to see a person beyond that person's wealth. An individual is still an individual regardless of their wealth, and they should be treated as an individual first and foremost.

Indeed, a merger of that magnitude would have been deadly secret until the official announcement and not blurted out at a wedding. Also if a “society wedding” had got a sniff of “the bride’s brother has been made to be a server” it would have been the top subject of gossip and scandal.
