The fact that she literally keeps track of 12 children's favorite colors, items, wants, and desires is so sweet honestly. I was an only child and I'm lucky if my mother remembered what kind of shampoo I wanted to use.

Btw it is so sweet and thoughtful the "thought" you put into the care baskets. You could not blame you if you grabbed the cheapest things; instead you chose what your own family would use. Just that act alone can show someone a lot of compassion and love especially in a stressful time. 🐢🐢🌼Cara

In Instant Pot, there are 4 different sizes 3qt , 6qt, 8qt and 10 qt. I would suggest 10qt for your family as you can make lot of food in it very very quickly. I have three 8 qts for my family of 6 and I have all the three in parallel (example - vegetable + rice in low pressure cooking mode, lentil soup in high pressure mode and a spinach-veggie soup in saute mode) for a big cooking day. There is also instant pot with air fryer combo which you can try once you get used to the normal instant pot

I love my instant pot (granted I only cook for two). It’s great for rice, beans, lentil stews, hard boiled eggs, faster stews etc. I’d recommend the basic instant pot. They're all fairly similar in terms of features so I would suggest just getting the biggest one you can find. 8qt Duo would do well, or the pro if you also want the air fryer lid. I think there used to be a 10qt Duo but not sure if its still available. For recipes/how to I would suggest Jeffrey Eisner/Pressure Luck Cooking. He has 3 cookbooks and they are INCREDIBLE. All pressure cookers are about the same these days. I have the Instant Pot 8qt but only cook for 5. I'd say go with the largest pressure cooker you can find. I believe Go Wise has a 14qt option. I know Jamerrill Stewart (another large family YT mama) has one & she cooks for 14-16 daily. If you don't already watch her you definitely should. She's also amazing!! Six Sister's Stuff (also here on YT) has all sorts of videos with pressure cooker recipes. So extremely helpful when you are first starting out. She uses the actual Instant Pot brand but always says other brands are just as good & have the same features. I think you would love a pressure cooker. It makes things so quickly but they still taste delicious. Can even cook from frozen in no time if you forget to thaw meat. I can say don't be scared of them like I know lots of people are. There is a learning curve but trial & error & a few YT videos from the above mentioned channels will have you whipping up meals/snacks in no time!!
