Family of 13 - Church, Hanging with the Newlyweds, Haircuts & Music!

Our typical Sundays are never really typical living in New York City! This week we had our normal (somewhat crazy) trek to church, then we tried our hand at turning our hamburger potato casserole into a crockpot recipe. (It turned out well but we may still tweak it a bit! Taste was spot on, but the potatoes were a bit soft. And Eleanor said it reminded her of shepherd's pie so I was thinking we could serve it with peas next time.) We got to have lunch with Josiah & Eleanor too! It was so fun. Then it was time for haircuts for Moses & Enoch. Marc does a better job than the barber! Then we had more snacks (beans & quesadillas) and did a live. I show some of my favorite behind the scenes moments. The little kids dancing while the big kids are playing is my favorite part! #largefamily

Dad did a great job w/ the haircuts! Enoch, just kills me…he knows that if the haircut didn’t quite turn out, that he could wear that delightful helmet. He is so funny. I agree w/ you Amber on the Lemon bars. They remind me of Lemon meringue pie, and you are all fortunate to have enuf people to eat them. When you ask Enoch next year what he wants for Christmas…you can just say, “ oh we thought it would be easier to just give you a haircut “. LOL 😅. Gosh he’s so sweet and funny. oh my goodness, so many great things happened in this vid! Sometimes I swear Mr. Enoch is straight from a Dickens Story... I had to say out loud Mr. E what are you trying to do to me man? So Thankful, so adorable... bless his HEART! And NETTA! (I have called her Peanut Girl since she was born, because she is such an adorable lil Peanut) - she's WALKING - doing all the hard work! Aww bless Enoch for saying his haircut was good and happy with it and if he hadn't have got anything I was happy with just a haircut , he's so touching in his appreciation of gifts food and now his haircut, mo also was happy with his , good job Marc ,👍👏there was one point of Enoch's hair cut I saw you in his eyes Amber , well there all growing up , Neta is walking yeh 👍👏😘 she's a good girl and diffo loved by all her brothers and sisters , x😍 do you eat corn beef ? Makes a good stew , guess you need about 3 cans with onion carrots potatoes, Oxo stock cube and beef broth , had corn beef not long before end otherwise it melts down to much , nice with a pastry square, and slice beetroot or red cabbage , goes along way , I use 1 can just for myself and make 4 meals for me , be nice with spring cabbage on the side , lovely seeing your orders son , he's all grown up now , I miss seeing nattering about things now , he's quite now , but working and worn out I guess , I hope now he's married he still drops in for a music session , take care all of you , keep smiling , making memories, you bring us love and joy in all that you do , you and marc always have your kiss so cute and sweet , xxx 🫂😘🍀🌈

Aw thank you! Our favorite product is oil of olay total effects fragrance free…❤️ but we use other stuff too. Pearl subscribes to curology for acne treatment and it has a tretinoin component that I think really helps exfoliate. But it would be fun to do a video about it❤️

Amber and Mark- I recently came upon your sweet family. I became instantly “sold” when I saw that the older children all go to Julliard, and the biggest plus is it’s so refreshing to keep finding Christian family’s who aren’t afraid to show their faith to everyone! I wanted to share with you my Julliard story. I was a vocal music major, minoring in music lit., at Lamar University in Beaumont Texas. This was 1985ish (a million years ago 😂) I was in the middle of finals. Music majors finals consisted of having a “jury”, basically a mini concert, playing all the songs learned over that semester, and the “audience” were the vocal teachers (6), Dean of music, and up to 5 guests invited by the student. There was also 1 very special guest “judge”that was always a surprise as to who it was until after your jury was over. That year, the guest judge was a vocal professor from Juilliard! Her family lived next to my vocal prof., growing up, and was bff’s. My dream had always been to go to Juilliard. The movie “Fame” kinda fueled that fire within me!😂 The guest had 4 scholarships to go to Juilliard. I was offered a very nice scholarship. However, not sure if it’s changed since then or not, but Juilliard didn’t have dorms back then. I knew no one to possibly roommate with, I couldn’t afford to rent an apartment by myself either! My dad was a pastor to 2 small churches, and our family with 4 children (3boys And me)made it, so money was always tight. Needless to say, my parents couldn’t help with my room and board. Sadly, I had to refuse my scholarship and not go. If I dwell on it, even this many years ago, it will still make my heart sad. But, I also know that GOD had a special reason for my not going. I’m sure I wouldn’t have met my husband for one thing. So, I love watching your family and your children going to Juilliard and take a few minutes to think about my special dream and wonder what my life would have been like today, had I gotten to go when I offered the chance!😍

I agree somewhat but her and her other sister just seemed to take control which in one sense isn't bad but they've got to learn to let the kids be kids too and not act like that boss or what not I've seen it in the stores when mom's been busy and it's like if the child has something in their hand whether it's a snack or not leave them alone

You can buy an attachment for the kitchen aid mixer that shreds and grates ..I use mine all the time ..I buy blocks of cheese and grate it and put in baggies
