I'm wondering why you don't teach your kids to clean up after themselves. They are all old enough to at least help you with cleaning out your van. Or better yet, teach them not to make a mess. When they get their own place are you going to go to their place and clean their homes and cars??? I see you making them really nice meals but I never see a chore chart. They have to learn when they are young or they grow up to be irresponsible adults.

You should assign tasks to your kids to do and have a chores list for them to help you and your hubby out. You already do so much and don’t want to burn yourself out. Getting them to help will also teach them to appreciate their belongings and the family shared spaces. They are older enough to help and contribute to the family chores and teaches them for when they have their own homes etc I see you do much and maybe you can have time for yourself once in while if they help more.

In Germany, every plastic or glass bottle has a deposit on it. Depending on the bottle, this can be up to 25 cents. The bottles are collected and put into special machines. You then receive a credit note which you can redeem at the till.

Cleaning the van is like a scavenger hunt. You never know what you’re going to find. Did I understand correctly, five cents for a return bottle, that’s a good deal. As a child my brothers and I spent lots of time hunting pop bottles. They were glass bottles back then. Your life is wonderful, these kids are going to have great memories.

I should have bought more than 3 but didn’t think they’d like it. I was wrong 😅 Myself, Josh, James, Patrick, Bree, Dash, Jordan, Jason, Harlee and Dayshawn’s friend ate it. Alex was out to dinner with his friends. Zoey and Bodhi aren’t always in the mood to try something new so they grabbed one of their go-to’s (I think ramen?). And Dayshawn doesn’t eat seafood. Which brought up a whole debate about whether trout is “seafood” or not since it’s not from the sea. Lol!

On the caprese salad, if you ever have a baguette, slice it and toast it with a little olive oil, and then spread some pesto on the bottom then toss with the tomatoes and everything else you had, there's a restaurant in Arizona that does it this way and it's soooo tasty! Just a suggestion. ☺

Thank you for the info about the reptile royalty show I was given a Roku TV for Mother's Day from my daughter and my husband and when I was scrolling through what to watch I did see that so I clicked on it and was looking at the episodes and my daughter obviously is more interested than I really am but if I'm going to see especially venomous animals that is how I prefer to see them between me and a TV screen or a very very very very very very very thick piece of glass and closed all the way around well I shouldn't say that about All Reptiles because really snakes and any venomous creature a really the ones that I don't care to have a relationship with LOL any of the other things I'm okay with.
