I grew up in Africa ...it truly is blessed by God with beautiful animals and scenery ! I miss it so much and watching these videos makes me SO homesick my heart just aches 😢

I don't usually comment, but something you said today touched my mama's heart. My husband and I have 11 children also. Our oldest just turned 53 and our youngest is 39. We have always been a freak show too. I have so many stories about living with a large family. I wouldn't have traded for anything!!! We have had 3 of our 11 pass away as adults. Something parents never want to go through. We also have 45 grandchildren and 16 plus 3 more coming great-grandchildren.

Sarah, thank you for taking us along. One of my best friends of 28 years was planning a group trip to Kenya in the fall. Unfortunately, my friend died suddenly & unexpectedly in April. She wanted a group of us to go on safari for her 59th (“Pre-60”) birthday. I miss her and know she would have enjoyed the trip. She would have been all over your videos. (She was a Christian and I take comfort in that, but grief is real.)

Now that's my kind of roughing it!!! 😂 But what an amazing experience for all of you, and what a blessing to be able to do that! I am loving every bit of it. I read an article once called, "The Animal God Forgot," about giraffes. It was about how awkward and vulnerable giraffes are because of their physical attributes--long necks, long legs and large body, and knees that bend backward, which make it difficult for them to hide, drink, and feed. Amazing animals! Thank you so much for sharing this trip with us. 😍

I remember on their last safari their was a lion killing something it was a little intense! I miss not seeing any zebras. Luka always seems to be taking too many dangerous risks wherever they are ! I’m so glad Solo’s mom made him get off that wall. He’s a very handsome young man & is only 16 but Judah always seemed so much more mature when he was younger. I wonder what the temperatures are in the different parts of Kenya & how much they fluctuate during the year.

Thank you for this hour of safari! I remember once in Venezuela at a Safari Park I was holding our third she was 10 months old. A lioness jumped at the car she thought she had a delicious snack. We got out of there quickly!

WOW!! That was GREAT!! I liked when one of the girls goes "There's Simba" LOL My husband and I stayed overnight at the Henry Doorley Zoo in a tent! It was SOOOOO neat! Probably nothing compared to your safari though! And each tent has a name and we were in Simba! LOL Where we were the lion exibit was behind us.. So twice in the night we heard the lions roar! They have to switch them out Male/Females to be on the exibit. They are sisters and brothers. So they can't be together. And the males were trying to get the females attention. The impalas get together in a circle and put their tusks together so they're sticking up to protect themselves. Just like at the beggining of The lion king. they had an evening walking tour of part of the zoo, My husband has a cane. So they took us around in one of the carts while the others walked. We didn't ask for it. but boy it was GREAT! Talk about feeling special! Lol 11 out of 10!

I always love all of your videos even the sad ones because they show what a strong woman you are and what an inspiration you are to so many, but these of your family vacation to Kenya are just so awesome. I want to be part of your family. The love and joy just flows from every person whether they are your relative or Solo's. And your children are such amazing examples of what it looks like when children are raised in a loving family. I love how the older ones take care of the younger ones automatically, it is just amazing and they do it out of love. However, this video of the Safari... Oh my goodness, what glory to God you showed. The beauty and excitement of being around the animals and in the wild nearly took my breath away several times. God bless your family and bring you joy and peace. I will of course continue to watch and keep up as I have always done, and I cannot wait to see the new house. Well, if you're a freak show you're the best of the best! So, enjoyed this, makes you think of God and his splendor. How awesome is his wonders! My husband and I owned a pluming company that was residential service. One of our customers was from South Africa. Our son was the lead plumber so he usually went to her house. He said it was full of African art. One day he was looking at a framed picture of a black leather jacket and asked the story behind it. Her son had it on while they were on safari, he leaned out the window of the vehicle and a lioness grabbed him but he was able to pull away leaving her with the jacket and get back inside the vehicle! They went back later and got the jacket! This safari trip was beautiful and I have already looked up the company to see if there might be a possibility of doing something like that. It doesn’t seem to be really expensive at first glance but I will have to get into it better. Thanks for sharing! Safe travels

Your not a freak show your just blessed God new what he was doing. My Grandma had 12 children my father who will be 81 onJuly 1. This weekend will be a family reunion on my dads side . This is since I was young . He lossed 2 brothers in the last year . But my mind wonders to how many family ,cousins ,grandchildren, and children will show . That could be a few hundred not sure how many i can count lol. You and Solo are very blessed . Plus your family is fixen to grow .
