I noticed how your boys show their true self when they went fishing with you. They seem so relaxed and more talkative than in other videos. I think they were so into spending the day fishing with you that they forgot the camera. Keep up the great parenting ❤

Another great video! I just realized despite the cold weather, the snow is a real blessing for you to walk on-like a buffer between you and the hard ground. If there was no snow, you likely could not get around as comfortably- as it gives you an ‘extra layer of cushion’ like a softer pad for you to take each step on. So glad for your progress! Keep up the rehab in any way that’s safe!! Congrats on your licenses, boys!!

I loved this video. I never realized how many things there are to do in Alaska! And it's so beautiful! It made me smile when you and the boys walked out of the DMV with new driver's license and you said, I thought they were born yesterday. I think every parent of older children can relate to that. Then later you were pulling them on a sled and that just made me smile because every parent can relate to that also. Such a heart warming video. The eagle swooping down to grab a fish was magnificent! I really enjoyed this video! God bless you all.

Ahhh those views, gorgeous. And ya know your temps aren't all that different from where I live in Upstate NY, at the foothills of the Adirondack Mts. Alaska might just have the temps for longer periods is all. Its just so beautiful. Alaska is the one state I'd love to visit over Hawaii or California (again) or Washington or Illinois....Alaska is one of a few states I haven't visited. And P- your dinners look sooooo delicious. And your SD cobbler inspired me to make one. I have frozen blackberries that I picked from my vines this past summer, and I think I need to make a cobbler.

Priscilla NEEDS the Pyre set from Badlands. I've tried a lot of warm weather water proof gear and that is the WARMEST you will find. Your body hardly registers the cold. Plus they have a LIFETIME NO QUESTIONS ASKED WARRANTY. And they make it easy to use the bathroom outside. First I ordered the bibs and then when I realized how warm they were I ordered the coat. You won't regret it!

I have to stop here at the drivers' licenses part and give a warning of what happened to my daughter. She needed an i.d. to fly by herself at age 17. She had that paper for her permit (yes, 17. That's okay.) It was not accepted. I rummaged through my billfold and came up with her insurance card. "Government issued i.d." they said. Be sure you have a card. She wasn't flying outside the country, so we didn't bring her passport-- just her ss card and that government issued paper that wasn't accepted at the gate. Even her expired passport would have been accepted. Just passing that on.
