Use a refillable dish wand scrubber that you squeeze on the handle to dispense a drop of soap to wash the dishes I fill the sink with 3 drops soap and water to soak the dishes but sometimes if it's only a couple of things I just run hot water over the dish then use scrubber wand as it already has the soap in it. Doing it this way a small bottle lasts a month and a half I use the dawn dish scrubber They have different ones available
