And the Egypt officials cooled down around Alaa's sister when US officials were around...which means that Egypt governing are doing things they know US does not approve...ought be a way then to get Alaa and other political prisoners in Egypt to be set free !? It's about to find authorities in the US to help push this case! Prayers for that!

Thank you Amy for this excellent interview with Leila and Sanaa Seif, Alaa Abd El-Fattah's mother and sister! Thank you for taking the time to allow them to expose the full corruption of the intermational situation (in particular the part played by the US) which is keeping Alaa and at least 65,000 other political prisoners incarcerated in Egypt, disempowering the Egyptian people and preventing them from creating their democracy. I hope Western leaders find their consciences and REALLY do what is needed to free Alaa - but, as I wrote previously, I believe Alaa has his freedom in his own hands - as indeed do all the Egyptian political prisoners and all other human beings. Sorry to disagree with Sanaa - but I think the best way out of prison for Alaa is to forget about any more hunger strikes: forget about the dictatorship which imprisoned him for the last nine years and withdraw his energy from this situation. Then focus all the willpower he put into starving himself into creating COMPLETELY POSITIVE mindset. Focus on Freedom Alaa - on being free again, reuniting with your son who misses you so much and travelling to London to start a new life of freedom, as Sanaa said in this interview. Don't allow any negative thoughts! Delete them.immediately! And no more thoughts of hunger strikes either! If you believe in God, ask for divine help fervently and with full trust that your freedom will be given to you! Stat positive! Stay healthy! I hope to hear good news soon! I love Alaa and his family ♥️ His father helped thousands of people get a decent defense at courts and rehabilitation after imprisonment, Alaa and his sisters Mona and Sanaa are advocating for human rights and many more great causes. they are the most heartwarming family I've seen in Egypt ♥️ Alaa must be free along with the thousands in forced disappearance, pre-trial detentions for years, political prisioners and political prisoners who were accused of criminal charges and wrongfully sentenced with no evidence. It must happen.
