By the way all Christians in the holy land are Palestinian Arabs even if they carry the Israeli citizenship. That's because all inhabitants of the holy land regardless of faith swapped Aramaic language the language of Jesus Christ with Arabic after Muslim expansion from Arabia in the 7th century. So that's why Christians with maybe one or two exceptions don't serve in the Israeli army and this cross in a military Cemetary was never an issue before.
