The Purple Dragons have actually been around as long as the Ninja Turtles themselves have. Since the first issue of the original Mirage TMNT Comics. In fact the first fight in the whole book is between the Turtles and the Purple Dragons.

They butchered Kitsune.. she's such an important character in the comics especially to the Shredder storyline. Agent Bishop is one of my favorite tmnt characters, especially in 2003 (which created him) and the idw comics.. Honestly I think episodes 5 and 6 are the best of the show. I stopped at episode 7 so maybe your reactions will motivate me to go back and continue it. I think the only way to make me love these turtles is if in the next movie they are a little older and since we pretty much know Shredder is gonna be in that I think they should totally add Hamato Yoshi to the story in some way even though he should've been a part of it from the start. It would be awesome if Shredder kind of causes a tonal shift in the story and forces the characters to slightly grow up.. I don't see them killing splinter but that would be interesting.. I'm getting way ahead of myself.

yeah frankly I hate him. Like 2012 did something different with him same with idw comics and I still like him there.
