Hugh Jackman said he really was done playing the character of Wolverine after Logan (2017). He then said he regretted that statement after watching the first Deadpool movie and expressed to Ryan his interest in the two characters meeting on the big screen. When asked why he chose to return for this film, he simply said, "I just wanted to do it, and I felt it in my gut", adding that he wanted to have the best possible time ever on a movie set together with Ryan Reynolds. Likewise, Reynolds wanted to work alongside Jackman since the first Deadpool film and was saddened when he (Jackman) retired from the role.

The brown and tan wasn't the orig colors. Wolverine debuted with the yellow and blue suit in the Hulk comics. Byrne gave him the gold and brown suit that was his standard costume thru much of his solo series run. Frank Miller helped that, too, with his limited series in the early 80s. But the really awesome easter egg is that Wolverine's claws reflect the Hulk in that one scene, and that is a direct reference to a really famous Incredible Hulk cover.

I feel she saves Wolverine in a way here. She is older, knows Logan’s sacrifice, how impactful it is. She knows the multiverse, and knows Wolverine. When she turns and says “ you were always the wrong guy, until you weren’t” it hit me hard. She gets to him, he helps save the timeline, Deadpool’s world. 5:03 it's been literal decades since I saw it, but I'm sure that's part of the actual dance number from the original Bye, Bye, Bye music video, or very close to it. The soundtrack alone should be getting awards, it doesn't hit every early-2000s nostalgia point that it could, but it hits enough of them to work. (Even the score feels like it's coming from a 2000s-2010s film somehow.) I was unreasonably happy that they got Tyler Mane back as Sabertooth. Don't get me wrong, Liev Schreiber is a great actor and I did like his take on Sabertooth, but Tyler Mane was there first and did honestly look a lot more like the comic version of Sabertooth.

In all canon marvel worlds i have ever hearad of, cain marko aka juggernaut is at least hte half brother of charles xavier. ergo cass is chuck's twin, then therefore cass is juggernauts sister.

As others have said, Gambit Cajun accent is pretty much on point. However, the director did request to 'ham' it up just a bit. Otherwise. Deep south Louisiana cajun accent. It's the mixing of broken French that makes it sound off to a lot people. Watch Swamp People if you want a good example. Also, Gambit is an Omega-level mutant. One of the strongest (if not THE strongest) in the x-men universe.

When logan fights DP in the void, the claws coming out is the most comic accurate thing in any comic book movie ever made. The shape of the claws, the metal housings they come out of, even the three little lines in the housings. Also this wolverine is the most powerful one, he one shotted sabretooth, and Fox's wolverine always had trouble fighting him. Part where blade tells DP he doesn't like him refers to when they both were in blade 3, and rumors were that snipes hated him. Tatum was supposed to be in the gambit movie like around 10 years ago, never got made. It's why the others said the TVA put them in the void, and he mentions how he doesn't know how he got here, because his movie was never made, there was no one for the TVA to get. So he was born in the void, as he was created for this movie. The meta, on top of meta jokes is incredible.

God, is this poor girl….I mean, this is the first video of theirs that I’ve found, but…is she being held at gunpoint? Forced to do this? She looks so incredibly, _deeply_ uncomfortable and unhappy the entire time. Even when she’s dancing or singing or laughing, her eyes and eyebrows just scream “What the fuck am I _watching????”_ Girlfriend, really, blink twice if you need a rescue team. Like I legitimately have to stop watching this around the time that Deadpool finds Logan in the bar because she genuinely looks like she’s being forced or abused into doing this, and it’s making me uncomfortable.

They had plans to include Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider among the others, but Nicolas Cage pretty much turned it down. There's still rumors that Nic Cage might show up in Avengers: Secret Wars as Ghost Rider though... There's a deleted scene where Gambit makes it and there's also rumors that both he and Beast are gonna show up in Secret Wars as well. I would be open for a Blade 4, in fact Ryan Reynolds wants to do a Logan-esque story with Wesley Snipes's Blade, giving him the perfect sendoff/end. The Punisher is my favorite Marvel character and even though he got killed in this movie, I still appreciated that they mentioned him twice =) You're the 1st reactor to noticed the Mangold reference joke =)

Pre-MCU Marvel (the comic book company) was going bankrupt and started to sell movie rights to some characters. Most of the time the deal was that those rights will revert back to Marvel after a number of years without making a movie with said characters. That's how they got back Blade, Daredevil, Elektra, Punisher and Ghost Rider. Fox was still making X-Men movies, as well as Fantastic Four movies, however bad they were, so Disney needed to buy the whole Fox to get that back. Sony still holds their rights to Spider-Man and is not willing to give them back, so they co-produce stuff with Marvel, that allows Sony movies to be a part of the MCU and Marvel to use Spider-Man in their own stuff like Avengers or Captain America. Sony also keeps making those Spider-Man adjacent movies like Venom, Morbius, Madam Web or soon to be released Kraven.

I just watched this movie this past weekend with my oldest brother and I loved it. I wish I gave this movie a chance and saw it in the theater, but at the time, I was sick and tired of seeing superhero movies and they kept bombing like crazy. But this one was awesome. I loved spotting all the cameos. And speaking of which, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm is probably my favorite, mainly because just like you guys, I thought he was Captain America. That got me good. As far as the other Deadpools go, my personal favorite out of all of them was Ladypool, hands down. She look so cool and badass. And the fact that Ryan Renyold's wife did the voice of the character makes her even more badass. She did a fantastic job delivering those lines. And now I have a crush on Ladypool. Awesome reaction guys. Hope you have a great Happy Thanksgiving.
