To my dearest monks & nuns. It's been about 10 years when Thay last giving talks, I still search for those available clips to listen to his voice and meanings. Although spoken and answers with pronounced accents in different languages, Thay had a way to address each question with the utmost seriousness and sincerity, especially with those from children. He acutely understood the children's capability from learning, understanding, and carrying those memories going forward. Please don't loose that trust we have had in Plum Village. Don't patronize and don't short chained your answers especially to the children. Questions such as why do monks wearing brown and shaved their heads deserve true and meaningful answers from Buddhism's perspectives. Thay has had decades of learnings and honing his effective teaching, I hope his students who are now stepping in his shoes continue to carry on his history and spirits without loosing that uniquely Plum Village's signature, otherwise you will just be on of those ineffective "wellness center". I wrote this in utmost admiration from your past tradition. Best regards.
