We started out as tent campers a long time ago, and progressed through a variety of RVs, including a pop-up, a travel trailer, and several motor homes. In this video we describe the journey and why some of the decisions were made along the way.

Just missing you guys! If you’re comfortable, please let me know what’s changed/happened. Love your channel and both of you, you’re like the grandparents I no longer have and documenting their RV life, give the next generation of campers advice and lessons. I have and will continue to pray for y’all!

Thank you guys for sharing your story.. Very entertaining and yes, Tiffin service is awesome. Much better then REV which is one of the reasons we sold our Monaco Vesta for our Tiffin. Safe travels and hope to see you on the road.

Thank you for sharing. Our first motorhome was a Georgia Boy Cruise Air III. It was a Ford on a John Deer Chassis. I don’t think there are John Deer Chassis used any more. We had issues with it too, but had lots of great times. Stay safe.

The short version is that Chris and I have split up and I doubt there will be any more videos on this channel. I am working on a new one but that isn't ready yet.

Thank you for sharing your history, I am still looking/considering my first motor home, I'm recently retired and trying to decide if the motorhome life will work for me as a single person. I first considered a 45 foot diesel pusher but now thinking more in the 40-42' range, I hear a lot of good things about Tiffin and your video gives me confidence to look more at that manufacturer. I like the idea of a tag axle on a 40-42' coach for improved stability and comfort, do you have any thoughts or comments about a tag axle? Thank you very much.
@RV4X40com
@RV4X40com 3 жыл бұрын
The main benefit of the tag is the extra carrying capacity. I don't think the difference in handling is significant, but most of the weight is on the back so weight balance can be an issue. I don't remember the exact numbers but our real axle is close to its maximum rated weight but the front has close to 1000 pounds left so getting the weight forward can be a challenge. That goes away with the tag. Remember that at 40 feet with a tag you can capacity but lose volume because of the space the tag takes up. If I were doing that I would gt at least a 42 foot. We full time with the 2014 40 QBH and have not gone over the weight limit and have adequate storage for the two of us.
