Dock Fishing in Cajun Country for HUGE Catfish - With A Kid!

Hoist the sail (cats)! Ryder and I went on a wild, windy, and rainy fishing adventure to Cajun country and ended up catching some of the BIGGEST gafftopsail catfish we've ever caught. They put up a crazy fight and made for a surprise subject of this week's angling adventure!
Sometimes you don't make the video, other factors do instead. In this case, the elements, species that chose to bite, and camera footage (or lack thereof) did it for us. The wind and rain made sound quality terrible, and on top of that we lost the chest camera footage. So, this week we're gonna improvise a little!

looks like a nice spot for fishing, are you allowed to use cast nets there?

Yeah we can, but post Hurricane Ida there's a lot of debris in there. That said, I plan to do some more videos there, including some camping on the dock. So I'm sure we'll at least try a cast net.
