No sympathy for someone taking another life. They know exactly what they doing.. he was careful not to cut himself running around. No excuses.. lotta these ppl pull the mental health card mostly pretending they are.

The thing is, there are medications that can help people with his mental health problems. Right now, people can't be forced to take the meds. Some people should be forced if they are having psychotic breaks. There is also the potential cost of the drugs as a problem. The people who died would likely still be alive if this guy was on psych meds.

Family does not have the authority to put family with mental illness in a facility. It doesn’t work like that. He’s an adult. They can only call police or mobile crisis if he’s an IMMEDIATE danger to self or others. He’s taken to a facility. Once stable he’s released if he wants out. Once out he stops taking meds and back on drugs. He could be placed in a long term mental health facility for inmates with mental illness for unaliving 2 people. Some families have tried for years to force mentally ill members into treatment. They end up in and out of facilities. They learn what to say to get released. Stop taking meds.
