This is quite the unique set up Dan. I love how they have no menu and just start bringing out the food. What an awesome idea! And I love the healthy food disclaimers as well. I’m in Western Canada and this is my favourite Phantom Gourmet segment! Thanks Dan!

Ive been going here basically once every month or so for the last 30 years.. I love it, Anyone I bring thinks its mediocre at best so I assume nostalgia plays a big part. Food tastes exactly the same as it always has but I found over the last few years the chicken can be really hit or miss. Its either under cooked and the skin is slimy and kinda red meat or its just super dry... I remember fondly of eating tons of the chicken skin and it being my favorite part. Now it seems there is no skin lol. Still I love it there and will continue to go for the rest of my life most likely.

I’m glad Wright’s exists, as it brings value…but im baffled by them not serving gravy along with the chicken. They must be throwing away thousands of gallons of drippings monthly…it would help the dryer cuts and would be great to dip the rolls or fries in.

For the love of God...Please season the chicken! It would be so much better with something on it. It's jail food that's been glamorized. 😢 Fries are good though smothered in ketchup.
