Am I the only one who at least didn't like Rain when she got mad at Spirit even thought it was to defend Little Creek because Spirit was aggressive towards Little Creek and why wasn't Spirit mad at Rain in return? Spirit had a good exuse to not trust Little Creek at first and only wanted to be free again after his first human experience with the colonel and his men and had a herd and mother he missed and wanted to return back to, wouldn't Rain acted wild like Spirit if she was a wild as well and atleast had the same experiences with other humans like the colonel and his men. That the indian village kept Spirit in the indian village and won't let him go yet reminds me of when the Radiator Spring townsfolk wouldn't let Lighting McQueen go before he had fixed the road he accidentily destroyed and Lighting McQueen and Rain reminds of Spirit and Rain from Pixar's Cars.

This movie really is a classic for kids in the late 90s and early 2000s. The impact this movie had on me as a kid was indescribable. I just really wish the expansion about Spirit Jr (The son of the original Spirit &Rain) better followed the core themes, tone and message that the original movie had much better. As it stands right now all of the following properties the Netflix show “Spirit riding free”, The movie “Spirit untamed” and the video game “Spirit Luckys big adventure” only loosely follow the core themes that the original movie had. As it stands right now the only things imo that’s really great about this franchise expansion is that DreamWorks essentially confirmed that Spirit and Rain made it long term. Or at least long enough for them to have a son and that son eventually grew up and had a herd of his own one day. Also Brayer reused The same traditional sized model they used to make Spirit sr, for his son so that was a really nice touch. They even reused Rain’s model for one of the other newer horses as well. Also for the first time ever the Spirit franchise has a video game that is available on all platforms. Considering I just saw Puss in boots in the last wish I have hope that DreamWorks can turn around the Spirit franchise for the better. Considering from what it looks like the Shrek franchise definitely has a bright future ahead of it. Feb 20 2023

Poor spirit he thought Rain was dead 😢 but because of spirits Bravery and kindness he saved her life. And for saving his life Rain's decided to go ahead and get spirit and set him free once again and spirit got to reunite with Rain friend including his herd and his mother. They were all happy again I know his mother was super happy to see him again with the herd but I think the two horses really happy to see him where foals. He had such an incredible bond with those two because he saved their life from well a cougar. Cougar might be smart and strong but spirit is stronger and smarter and yes I know that he is the leader of the herd. He will do anything to protect his family from a cougar people well why don't we make the people who don't know how to treat horses. And I know that Spirit's and Rain's relationship wasn't love at first sight but that's because Spirit was dealing with mean people and Rain had no idea that there was such mean people in the world until she got the bed dose of it I mean having the general threatened her and her owner with a gun and her going down the river and can't stop and drowning. Now she knows that there are horrible people in this world who don't know how to treat horses in a respectful way.
