Holy crap. Always a fan of video game covers when done properly, but damn. Your channel's got some of the best I've seen so far, been binge watching it on my day off - a lot of these titles I've had zero interest in simply because they don't fall under the types of game I usually play, but can always appreciate the music just the same. You wouldn't happen to have a full or longer version of that theme from Scott Pilgrim in this video elsewhere, would you? Never played the game myself, but have to give you props for that one as it's the best version I've found both in terms of sound quality and just plain technique.

Jules, you have opened up my mind to so many beautiful, awesome songs that I did not know before this medley! I have only ever played 4 of the 10 games in this video but I listen to this entire medley as one whole song, and I listen often. (It’s great for cardio!) Several notable themes that you took from great to beyond-the-stratosphere amazing are the Scott Pilgrim song, Dummy from Undertale, Battle on the Big Bridge, & You Will Know Our Names. (I had to listen to the original versions of all four of those songs for comparison since I’ve never played those games.) I have played Ocarina of Time and SMW Yoshi’s Island, and I love what you did with those themes. I could gush all day long about how much I love this medley, but this is already too long and no one will ever read it. LOL

#ST - Undertale - Shop It's that atmospheric piano that makes this theme so cosy and warm sounding, and it's one of those video game songs that is used for a variety of aesthetics yet manages to suit every single one, so I always loved that too. Kind of an awkward one since, translated to rock straight it's gonna sound like a segment from the final boss due to it being a part of one of the overarching theme songs, but that just motivates me to want to see how you take it on to capture the feel of the shop variation in your style. C= (For the record my personal close seconds would be Anna's shop theme from Fire Emblem and the shop theme from Phantasy Star Online but that latter one is mostly nostalgia fuelled anyway I'm sure, fascinating as it would be to hear translated into rock I fear it'd be a wasted vote lol).

Regarding the way text is displayed on screen for each entry, I think the song titles are too small which might confuse viewers especially if at least two songs from the same game were to be featured in the same melody. You should make the song title more prominent among the other information ton screen and as the first line from the top; otherwise the song's individuality as a musical piece gets downplayed unnecessarily. Otherwise, I enjoyed this melody; I'm happy Dummy got in and really enjoyed the KH and Ocarina parts! So freaking heavy.

Just a cent of mine: I disagree with the prominence of the song title. The name of the individual track isn't as important as the game it's from. Most gamers will play through their entire game collection and find a favorite song or two per game, and still never know the names of any of them. It's rarely easily accessible information, and most tracks will usually just be known as "the store music" or "the miniboss theme". I think that's okay, because that's what they're meant to be, and that's the context that matters to people that have played or want to play the game.

Thanks for the suggestion! I usually try to spitball the format depending on the video for what's important. Most of the songs here were just called Miniboss so I figured I didn't need to bother naming all of them.

+Roxfox Actually, you do make a point. I also, in fact, would more likely associate a video game song with where it came from and not what it's called. I love music in general and sometimes I forget the rules of the importance of parts change depending on the type of music. But still, I think the song title shouldn't be put at the same level of information that doesn't relate to its respective game. It's a piece of musical identity that could be a little more prominent in the next melody.

FFV's "Battle on Big Bridge" was very well done. The arrangement reminded me of "The Black Mages" rendition of the theme (Uematsu's Rock Band). However I was a bit disappointed that FFVI's "The Decisive Battle" was not in the list... that tune is well done and highly contagious ;)
