This was a hard one, the whole Touhou soundtrack is so bloody good. I only chose between Beloved Tomboyish Girl, Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom ~ Nuclear Fusion, and this, because it would be too hard to choose otherwise. Either way, it won't get in, the whole thing'll be Undertale, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Legend of Zelda like it usually is. Yeah and in Japanese I think it's like "Tensei no Xanthe" or something which is like "Xanthe of the Heavens" Though on the soundtrack it is listed as just "Xanthe" on the case. Still, that's what they called him in the Japanese speech I believe. Something like that. I remember when I played the Japanese spoken version of the game it was said like that. And yeah, that does sound much more dramatic. I hope more people vote for this theme. Xenoblade has such amazing music.

Part of it was most likely based on Septette for the Dead Princess. And another part of it sounds very similar to Omiwa Legend.

ProtoZilla Having never played either game, I can't comment on that... I just remember the emotion of getting to that area for the first time, that mercy button getting shredded, the realization that, "crap, I have to fight this guy..." it was very good game design coupled with a great theme that is now very nostalgic for me. :-)

Please Jules in the future consider another round for boss music, it's such a vast category as many many bosses have very distinctive themes

Sounds like a good idea. If he does it, he'll probably select what type of boss theme depending on which is the most popular theme of this list. He could also make a difference between instruments - orchestral, rock, etc.
