Learning about your ancestors is fun! It’s detective work at its best. Discovering those who came before you is a treasure hunt with great rewards! Ancestry Consulting by Aimee and my Aimee Cross - Genealogy Hints KZbin channel were born out of a desire to help others discover their family history. I have been working on my genealogy since a teenager and have been helping others as a professional genealogist for almost 10 years. Whether breaking through a brick wall, finding a DNA cousin, determining parentage through DNA and conventional genealogy research, or discovering your family origins, I want to help you find your family! While I specialize in United States genealogy, these videos outline research methods which will help you research your family history anywhere. Happy hunting!

Thank you for pointing to a good source of information. I would like to be a bigger fan of Family Search but after seeing other's work or lack there of I just can't wrap my heart around the One-Tree concept. People are just to accepting of that low-hanging fruit. Love your channel! Thanks, #GenealogyGrandmother

Thank you! True about low hanging fruit but that’s evident on Ancestry’s trees too! Oh well. Thanks for sharing your perspective.

It’s not at all like FamilySearch Wiki. It’s more like the FamilySearch tree as it’s a collaborative tree. I don’t post client trees on collaborative trees because that’s not my place, but I love that people are there working together. I love that it’s free. I like that they want sources to add a person to the tree. It’s not a place to find records though, unless you see a source someone added for someone you’re interested in. I actually haven’t spent a lot of time there and haven’t joined, but I really should.
