I would like to see Kellogg bring back the 18-package Jumbo Assortment as well as Product 19.

Sugar Smacks are now called Honey Smacks.

They were just "Smacks" for awhile, I believe, too. I know the Sugar Smacks frog, not a clown--which looked like the famous clown Lou Jacobs.

I am old enough to remember FrostyO's. I would kill for a bowl of Puffa-Puffa rice or Quisp!
@lisalynnmarie24483 ай бұрын
Quisp!!!!! Omg, that's my favorite cereal ever. Last summer, at least in Michigan, it was back on the shelf until about October. I bought a box every time I could lol I can't find it anywhere, at all now. It was on Amazon for a little bit but always out of stock. I was so upset, too lol It was still as delicious as ever!

Some of the cereals thatI recall that have been discontinued and that I wish that they would bring back are Baron Von Redberry, Sir Grapefellow, Quangaroos and Punch Crunch. Something else that l would love to see are the return of Pst Tens, Post Treat Pack, and the Big G Goodness pack. Of course I would also like to see Alpha Bits come back, also😊.

I remember all but Cornfetti and Heart of Oats

Heart of Oats is reminiscent of Valentine Cheerios.

Nabisco also used to make Team Flakes! The cereal with corn, wheat, rice and oats! My lost favorite was GM Buc Wheats Flakes, with a snap of maple flavor! We got a lot of General Mills cereals because my mom collected the Betty Crocker points coupons on the box tops!

Team Flakes might still be in Canada. I had them in 2000 aboard a VIA train, in a Vista-Dome observation car on the night train between Montreal and Toronto.

Buc Wheats Flakes with the maple flavor is my favorite cereal of all time. It was available in Arizona up until it disappeared about 1982 or so.
@ghw71923 ай бұрын
I don’t remember who made them, but for a while, Country Corn Flakes was available. Their ad had a couple imitating the Grant Wood painting American Gothic singing a jingle. As I recall, they were very good.

General Mills marketed "Country Corn Flakes" from 1961 through the 1980's. However, individual food service packages are still available on a limited basis.

Frosty-Os are alive & well as Frosted Cheerios.

Sugar Rice Krinkles were reformulated in 1971 with chocolate and fruit flavors...and So-Hi the little Chinese character was replaced by Fred and Barney as Cocoa Pebbles and Fruity Pebbles. The very first packages of Frosty O's, as you showed, were distinctly labeled as "Sugar-Charged CHEERIOS." And, while I preferred OKs to Cheerios, not even Yogi Bear could save them (frankly, I was six years old when OKs were introduced and Big Otis scared the hell out of me!)
@volstar83 ай бұрын
If I could add just one it would be the Kellogg’s OKs cereal. I love oat cereal and that looks like a good one. Really like the cereal pieces in the shapes of O’s and K’s, that would make it fun to eat. Of course having Yogi Bear as the mascot also gives the cereal great appeal.

When Kellogg's discontinued their syndicated sponsorship of "HUCKLEBERRY HOUND", "QUICK DRAW McGRAW" and "YOGI BEAR" in 1966, Huck, Yogi, Quick Draw McGraw and Snagglepuss disappeared from their cereal boxes. In the case of Yogi, "OK's" also disappeared.

Sugar Smacks was renamed Smacks. The seal would've made a great mascot in the 90s, but we got a frog. Frosty-Os sounds like Frosted Cheerios Wheat Honeys looks like Honey Smacks

Funny how the word 'sugar' on a cereal pack has gone from being at one time essential to unthinkable today !

Walmart once had a cereal that tasted just like OKs. It was called Great American Organic Toasted Oats, but it hasn't been available in recent years.

I couldn't stand Sugar Smacks, and the mere fact you can still buy it and not my all time favorite irritates me to no end!! Other than Sugar Smacks, I was probably too young to remember any other cereal mentioned.
