About FAMOUS IN LOVE:
Based on the novel by Rebecca Serle, “Famous In Love” stars Bella Thorne as Paige, an ordinary college student who gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. She must now navigate her new star-studded life - and undeniable chemistry with her two co-leads - while uncovering the truth about what happened to a missing, famous popstar.
Joining Thorne is Carter Jenkins (“The Following”) as Rainer, the son of Hollywood royalty, who is one of Paige’s costars in the blockbuster movie. Jesse Henderson (“Finding Carter”) plays Jake, Paige’s best friend who becomes jealous when Paige starts hanging out with Rainer. Keith Powers (“Straight Outta Compton,” “Recovery Road”) will portray Jordan, a Hollywood bad boy, who stars with Rainer and Paige in the movie. He and Rainer have a complicated history, which is further heightened by the fact that both share chemistry with Paige. Niki Koss (“Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse”) stars as Alexis, one of Rainer’s old friends, who competes with Paige for the same role, and like most people on the show, has a secret. Georgie Flores (“CSI”) will play Cassandra, Paige’s roommate and close friend, who is straightforward and a good friend. Perrey Reeves (“Entourage”) will star as Nina, Rainer’s smart and cunning mother, who is half of one of Hollywood’s most powerful couples. Confident and manipulative, she does whatever it takes to make sure things go her son’s way. Pepi Sonuga joins the cast as Tangey, a beautiful pop star who mysteriously disappeared from the public eye, and previously involved with both Rainer and Jordan. Mark Valley (“Human Target”) will recur as Grant Devon, Rainer’s father, who is a major figure in Hollywood.

I don’t agree with cheating at all, but as a lot of people have said this is very out of character behavior for Paige so think about where she must have been at emotionally for this to even happen. Between being in a relationship with someone who is constantly pulling back, undermining her career, and making her feel insignificant and having a stalker strip her of all illusions of safety, she’s incredibly vulnerable at the moment. Exes are familiar. There’s a safety and comfort there that she’s been sorely lacking for awhile now. I don’t agree with what she did, but I understand how it happened.

The scene that made me think "Paige needs to break up with Jake" , is when she got two tickets for that thingy and Billy just had to come along, and soon after Paige was about to leave and Jake made eye connection with Paige and I'm here thinking "Jake you're so blind, she's signaling you to go after her" but instead he walked away and Paige got mad and left and she got drunk then things happened. I'm not saying it's ok to cheat but at that point she knew that she always tried to keep their relationship stable and he didn't even try that night

Okay while what Paige did wasn't right you gotta admit Jake isn't treating her right. He let her give her pass to Billy knowing she wanted to spend the evening with him, he let the man at the party basically talk down on her, and he let the other producer from Rainer party pressure her to drink for his benefit. In season 1, Jake been there and supported Paige when she was making the transition. Every time they made plans, she arrived very late to the point it didn't matter or didn't show up at all to hang with Rainer. Example when she asks for his help with a homework assignment for college, and she didn't show up at all till late, in which case, Jake already finished it for her. And you say, Jake was horrible? Didn't he have an opportunity in Austin that he turned away to be with Paige? Paige and Jake held mutual feelings for one another but got complicated when Paige got the part.

When Jake did that assignment for her, she HAD to stay late against her will. They kept her for a photoshoot and she kept trying to text him to tell him what was going on, but she wasn't able to. The scene where she is talking to Rainer afterwards is like a couple of minutes long when he is taking her back to her car. She had no choice but to stay late, but Jake did not even give her a chance to explain. On her birthday, when she was told she had to work, he was angry at her for that too. They had mutual feelings, but he is the one that told her he wanted to be friends. He might have done that for selfless reasons, but everything that followed was selfish. Paige showed many times that she was trying with him. She did everything she could to be there for Cassie, and Jake put blame on her saying she was distant, and did not defend her at all when Cassie said that she was angry Paige got the part. Also Paige completelyy blew off Rainer for the both of them after being treated like crap many times already. Jake went around acting high and mighty like she was so terrible to even INTERACT with Rainer, her co star, while he ran off with Alexis. Seriously, Paige was like #1 friend season 1, and she got nothing but crap in return. Jake might have turned away an opportunity to be with Paige, but notice how they were so so happy when they were working on his movie, and the moment it gets hard and she has to go back to work and it's not all about him anymore, he is selfish and picking fights. She can do better. sorry - rant over.
