I too was looking forward to seeing the real Lil Edie. I must say, This was EPIC. An amazing piece of art. I think lil' Edie might be quite tickled to see such a tribute but maybe not, You understand. No dance needed, the little American flag, along with Edie's words, (done brilliantly) gave us the dance in our heads. We didn't miss a thing. Bravo!

Amazing and so insightful… Thank you so much for your studied performances… It is obvious you did your homework and Incorporated many of the more rare interviews into your entire presentation. I loved it for the most part shared without the laugh track, as that only increased the poignancy.. thank you and bless you both. And may I say, Lady Mary Pozah, you really did your homework with your accent!

Quick, aren't you. 😂 No offense intended. This was art. Regardless if you like it or you don't. I too, was disappointed that it wasn't lil' Edie yet was so taken with the whole thing. Of course, you're right. Lil Edie was gone long before this was made. I think she'd be very happy that her memory lives on, still. An eccentric anomaly.

Why are you making fun of someone who had such a tragic fall from grace. Two women who loved each other, a mother who screwed her own daughter for her own vanities. Edie Jr. Beale could've had a wonderful career but knew she had to be with her mother for her mother's sanity.

After Edie Sr died little Edie sold Grey Gardens and move to a couple of different states, she lived in grenich village and had a cabaret act before retiring to Bal Harbour Florida. She was found deceased in her home on January 14,2002 at the age of 84. She finally found peace in her life and had many friends before she passed. Her life really began after her mother's death. Little Edie fulfilled her dream of being a singer in New York and died happy despite the rough time she had. HBO made a movie with Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lang. You can buy it on Amazon. It's a very good movie, also you can by the the documentary about the Beales that was made in the 70's to see how they really lived. It's very interesting. The people she sold Grey Gardens to was rehabbed per an agreement that Edie had that upon selling it that it wouldn't be torn down. You can Google it and see how beautifully restored it is. Little Edie would be proud.
