When I as a kid I wanted to be left-handed. I tried to teach myself to write with my left hand, and would wear a watch on my right hand so everyone I met would think I was left handed. But my mother put a stop to it.

Actually Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain were both right handed. Though they played guitar with their left hands, they both wrote with their right hands. For example, you can find pictures of Cobain signing autographs with his right hand. They are what is known as mixed-right handed people, meaning they split up different tasks between different hands (which is more natural/comfortable.) Hendrix was known to eat, answer the phone, and play guitar with his left hand, but he wrote with his right.
