Sahih al-Bukhari 6120 Narrated Abu Mas`ud: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'One of the sayings of the early Prophets which the people have got is: If you don't feel ashamed (from Haya': pious shyness from committing religeous indiscretions) do whatever you like." Making mistakes leads us back to remembering and repenting to Allaah, hence the term 'we are only human' applies to us, no one is perfect and this is impossible in the modern day and time, perfection was not the purpose Allaah created us for, neither was this ever stated in the pervious Books, plus you yourself are in position to judge regarding your own desires and you yourself have urges, this without a doubt is the reality we all live in and refuge lies with Allaah, the opening lines of Surah An-Nas 114:1 قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ Say, "I seek protection from the Cherisher of mankind, Also in the same Surah Allah says 114:4 مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ against the evil of the temptations of the satans, Furthermore Allaah will guide whomever he wills, in Surah Baqarah Allah says 2:272 لَّيْسَ عَلَيْكَ هُدَىٰهُمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُونَ إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُونَ You do not have to guide them. God guides whomever He wants. Whatever you spend for the cause of God is for your own good, provided you do not spend anything but to please God. For anything good that you may give for the cause of God, you will receive sufficient reward and no injustice will be done to you. Also The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam empathised on this point when said أَنَّ الأُمّة لو اجْتَمَعَت عَلَى أن يَنفَعُوكَ بِشيءٍ لَمْ يَنْفَعُوكَ إِلا بِشيءٍ قَد كَتَبَهُ اللهُ لَك، وإِن اِجْتَمَعوا عَلَى أَنْ يَضُرُّوكَ بِشيءٍ لَمْ يَضُرُّوك إلا بِشيءٍ قَد كَتَبَهُ اللهُ عَلَيْكَ، رُفعَت الأَقْلامُ، Know that even if one nation gathers togehter to benefit you, they will not be able to give you any benefit, except one thing that Allah has decided for you, if one group (community) gathers together to put you in danger, they will not be able to harm you without any danger being determined by Allah. The pens of fate have been lifted and the pages have dried. (At-Turmudzi) Al Qadaa wal Qadr (divine decree and destiny) and this is essessnce of faith (Eemaan) you must be mindful of Allaah The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam said احْفَظِ اللهَ يَحفَظك، احْفَظِ اللهَ تَجِدهُ تُجَاهَكَ Be mindful of and Allah will protect you, be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. (Find him in front, this means Allaah directing, guiding you towards good) In another narration which empathises on doing a evil action then following up good action will cancel the bad deed out, this shows hope for the salve of Allah by his Lord The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam said اتَّقِ اللهَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْتَ، وَأَتْبِعِ السَّيِّئَةَ الحَسَنَةَ تَمْحُهَا Fear of Allah wherever you may be, follow up an evil deed with a good one, so that the good one will wipe the evil deed So if one is mindful of Allaah he will also Fear Allaah, only the people of ignorances won't take heed and will follow their desire to there graves, and all this is coupled by your intention as The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam said إنما الأعمال بالنيات، وإنما لكل امرئ ما نوى The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. This Hadeeth is a great foundation regarding the actions of the heart due to the intentions stemming from the actions of the heart. The scholars have said: this Hadeeth is half of worship لوْ كلَّفْنا الله عملا بلا نيّة لكان من تكليف ما لا يطاق "If Allah were to burden us with actions without intentions, then there would be from responsibility that which no one could bear" I'll leave you with this and the rest is up to you On the authority of Abu Abdurrahman Abdullah bin Masud radiyallahu anhu, The Messenger of Allaah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ حَتَّى مَا يَكُوْنُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا إلاذِرَاعٌ فَيَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الكِتَابُ فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَدْخُلُهَا، وَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ حَتَّى مَايَكُونُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا إلا ذِرَاعٌ فَيَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الكِتَابُ فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ فَيَدْخُلُهَا Indeed there is one who performs the deeds of the people of paradise, until the distance between him and the paradise left an arms length, but the initial fate outstrips him so he performs deeds of people in the hell, so that his distance with the hell is only an arms length, and he will go to the hell. There is also one who perform deeds of people of hell-fire, until his distance with the hell is only an arms length, as his initial fate outstrips him, and he perform the deeds of the people of the paradise, he ends up going to the paradise.' (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) And Allah knows best.
