It does work well. The trick is to find someone that speaks English and is confident enough to talk to you. When I saw the group at this large table, I just had a feeling that they would be open to me coming up to them and saying hello. And then the woman helped me place my order.

How long are you going to stay in Thailand? And where are you going to go in Thailand? I was watching some of your videos to figure out a bit of your life story. Unfortunately, of course, I can't understand what you are saying. 🙂 But it looks like you flew to Kuala Lumpur three or four months ago. Are you living there and working there now? Or were you traveling all the time, and now you are traveling around Thailand and will then go somewhere new?

That's interesting. I don't think I would like Pattaya very much either. I don't think it is my kind of place. If I wanted to spend time on beautiful beaches, I think I would like to go to the Philippines and visit some remote places there. I feel more comfortable there. And I'm so sorry, but right now, I don't remember you from Natalia Guesthouse. That's awful of me, isn't it? 🙂 But I wasn't being very social back then, and I didn't talk to a lot of people. I was just living my own rather simple life back then. I wasn't living the kind of life I have now. I'll have to close my eyes and think back and see if I can remember the people at Natalia Guesthouse when I was staying there. Maybe I can dig into my memories and remember you there. As you might know, my touring bicycle and other things are still there. So I have to go back there when I return to Kuala Lumpur soon. I don't know if my bicycle will even work anymore. I guess I will find out soon.

Big C is a waste of time for camera stuff, you have to go to a Central Plaza or Bangkok. Ditto the micro SD cards. Big Camera is OK but usually they don't have the latest models from manufacturers and certainly not high-end products.

Yes, I wasn't expecting much from Big Camera. But it was still more than you can find anywhere in Mae Sot. So, for me, it was quite interesting. I was just hoping for more. The Big Camera outlet in Kamphaeng Phet actually carried GoPro accessories and other items I was interested in. I was hoping this Big Camera in Sukhothai would at least sell GoPro batteries. And they did, but only for the Hero 7! 😂 They had no accessories at all for any recent model, such as the Hero 9 that I mainly use. It was still fun for me to simply gaze at the cameras in the front display. They weren't the latest and greatest and most expensive, but the models on display fit kind of right in my wheelhouse, such as the Olympus OM-D E-M5 III. That's as high-end as I would ever get. And it would be impossible to see even a camera like that here in Mae Sot.
