Hey Doug, love this series like all of your vlogs. Your videos are always my youtube highlights. I keep them and wait until I have my complete rest (without interruptions).

That's great. Thank you. The next two videos in the Sukhothai Series were shot as I explore the various ruins inside the Historical Park itself. The plan is to continue to post them as live Premieres, but, of course, after the Premiere, the video is available on the channel just like any other video. You can watch them anytime when you have that complete rest. 🙂 I didn't show a great deal of restraint in shooting or editing the next two videos, so they are both quite long. They clock in at around 90 minutes. I just found the Historical Park quite interesting, and I filmed everything I saw.

You need a stealth cam haha.

Just recently, I came up with the idea of wearing a GoPro chest harness underneath my shirt. And with that, I can mount a GoPro on my chest, and it is barely noticeable. That would work as a stealth cam. If I mounted microphones on it, it would be quite a bit larger. But if used just a simple Hero 7 in the original GoPro cage and used the built-in mics, it's quite small. Most people wouldn't even notice it. But since I'm making public videos, I wouldn't do that at a museum like this. I generally respect the rules that apply to the places I visit, and they clearly had rules against shooting video. So, sadly, my GoPros remained in my pockets and in my knapsack. 😢 They even had signs saying that photography was prohibited. But they had other signs say that photography was okay. So did take some pictures with my phone, and I had to be content with that.

Yes, I do have a DJI Pocket 2. It would work as a stealth cam if you mounted it on your body somehow. The normal way is to attach it to a strap of your knapsack. But I couldn't take a knapsack into the museum either. It would work great attached to a concealed GoPro chest harness. Though it might end up being more visible than a GoPro just because of the way it would have to be mounted and the shape of the camera.

I eventually stumbled across the Visitor Center. And I enjoyed that very much. The Visitor Center was very interesting, and it had a lot of displays related directly to the Historical Park and the temple ruins there. THAT would have been the place to visit before visiting the park itself. But I didn't know it existed until afterward. The exhibits at the museum were fine. Thinking back and looking at my pictures, it was actually quite a nice museum with a lot of exhibits both inside the buildings and outside in the grounds. I was just hoping for more information that was designed specifically to help me understand the park itself and somehow put the history of Sukhothai into context for me. And all of that was located at the Visitor Center. 🙂
